Kristé

We all have 24 hours in our day…how do you use yours?

Kristina Marie Sprague was born on January 17th, 1967 in Chicopee, Massachusetts. She earned a degree in Practical Nursing from Valdosta Technical College and earned her degree in Recreation Management from the University of Maine at Machias (UMM), where she graduated with honors in 2004, and earned her fitness therapy, smoking cessation, water safety instruction, group fitness instruction, sports nutrition, and lifeguard certifications all within her four years there. After graduation, Kristé began to work at UMM but left to pursue her own personal training business. After tearing her anterior tibialis tendon, she was unable to continue her business, and thus returned to UMM as a Fitness/Wellness Coordinator, where she found her niche.

In March of 2008 Kristé’s position at UMM was unceremoniously eliminated due to budget cuts, and she began to look for other work. Her husband Jeff helped convince her that she should share her knowledge and passion for health and wellness with the local community, and the Designer Health Net was created. By the fall of 2008, the idea of the Designer Health Net Talk Show was in full swing, and is now the hit radio sensation that it is today.
